Have you ever felt like someone just wasn’t truly “speaking your language” even when you were using the same words?
You're not alone.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked within the Deaf community and disabled individuals, witnessing how communication barriers, especially when American Sign Language (ASL) and cultural competency are overlooked, can turn small misunderstandings into major conflicts. These challenges often impact access, equity, and inclusion in everyday life, from special education settings to equal employment opportunities.
But here’s what I know: with the right support, clarity and healing are absolutely possible.
As a trained Deaf mediator, native American Sign Language user, and conflict resolution specialist, I offer mediation services that center empathy, structure, and respect. Whether you're facing a workplace dispute, a family conflict, or navigating the effects of disability discrimination, I serve as a neutral third party facilitator to help you move forward.
My approach to transformative mediation is grounded in restorative justice, civil rights, and a deep commitment to Deaf education and sign language access. I work with individuals, families, and teams to foster understanding, rebuild trust, and create lasting solutions.
Let’s turn friction into connection, and make space for every voice and sign.
